The Bulverde Spring Branch Activity Center is about men and women working together toward a common goal; creating a place that enhances the lives of seniors through programs involving education, exercise, social activities, health and communities service in an environment that provides opportunities for seniors to remain active and self-sufficient.

We are a non-profit organization, receiving no federal, state or local government funding. Our center is support entirely through private donation from foundations, local businesses and individuals. We succeed through the support of many volunteers that give their time and talents.

In the past few years, we have:

  • Expanded our Meals on Wheels program, reaching more of the community
  • Expanded our building, relieving overcrowding and overlapping events
  • Expanded all programming – fitness classes, social programs & outreach programs

There's a lot more to be accomplished, and we need your help to ensure that our area seniors age with dignity. Volunteering doesn't mean a huge time commitment but it makes a big difference in our community. Areas where we frequently need volunteers:

  • Front Desk Attendant
  • Transportation of seniors to and from medical appointments, grocery store, and other crucial errands
  • Meals on Wheels (drivers, kitchen aids)
  • Kitchen Personnel
  • Events/Fundraisers/Specific Projects (planning, set up, etc.)
  • Programming
